VINEYARD FARM HAND – LONG TERM
Forbes Bros Vineyard is a privately owned, large wine grape vineyard situated in Red Cliffs Victoria. We are seeking long term farm hands to join our team. We are offering above award wages that can be negotiated depending on experience.
Successful candidates will carry out the following duties
Foliar spraying
Herbicide spraying
Discing
Pruning
Green trimming
Slashing
Harvest
Post replacement
Pest & disease monitoring
Vine training, planting & desuckering
undertake other tasks as requested by senior staff & management.
Qualifications & Skills
Driver's licence
Chemical Users Permit or willingness to obtain
Basic understanding of machinery operations & maintenance
ability & willingness to work a 38hr week, carry out overtime & shift work when required
Positive & adaptive mindset
Will need to be available for night shift throughout the vintage period, January – April. Initially the position will be casual with the prospect of moving into a permanent role within the team.
