About the role
The Occupational Therapist – Advanced (Outpatients) provides advanced clinical review, leadership, and consultation for complex outpatient cases at Redcliffe Hospital. This role delivers expert occupational therapy services across specialty areas including hand therapy, lymphoedema, vascular, oncology, and palliative care, supporting multidisciplinary teams to achieve best-practice, high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, intervention, and advice for patients with complex presentations.
• Lead, coordinate, and develop outpatient occupational therapy services, ensuring adherence to professional standards and evidence-based practice.
• Offer clinical supervision, mentoring, and training to junior staff, students, and clinical assistants.
• Conduct service improvement initiatives, research, and evaluation to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Act as a primary contact for outpatient occupational therapy, providing authoritative advice to senior management and stakeholders.
