Five Senses Coffee is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, upbeat team member to join our finance team based in Rockingham. This full-time position is a great way to use and grow your accounting skills in a variety of ways, that doesn’t include doing tax returns all day every day. You’ll work as part of a small dynamic team and learn all about the business of specialty coffee while accounting for it.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will be required to carry out all the tasks of the accountant role, including:

• Overseeing accurate completion of daily Accounts transactions

• Reconciliations of all major accounts

• Manage financial relationships with customers and suppliers

• Completion of month end transactions and monthly financial reports

• Management of payroll

• Management of Insurances

• Compliance and lodgment of all tax requirements including BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT

• Cashflow Management

• Assisting with new system implementation

The accountant will work closely with, and be strongly supported by, the Chief Financial Officer.

Skills and Experience

Ideally the role would suit someone with up to 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or alternatively a recent graduate (or near graduate). A degree (or close to) in accounting is essential.

Working in a small team means you will need to be reliable and dependable, willing to take on all required tasks and collaborate effectively with others. You will show initiative and enthusiasm, be adaptable, and able to work independently. A willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and good organisational skills are a must.
