About The Role:

You will play a key part in the handling, presentation, and documentation of jewellery and small valuables for auction. Working closely with our experienced valuers and production team, you will ensure each piece is catalogued accurately, displayed attractively, and cared for with the utmost attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the unpacking, sorting, and secure storage of jewellery and other small collectable items

Support the valuation process by describing, weighing, measuring, and recording lot details

Prepare jewellery for photography and display

Undertake condition checks and accurate data entry for online auction listings

Contribute to salesroom setup and assist customers on public viewing days and in personalised appointments

Prepare goods for despatch to or collection by clients

Uphold best practices in handling and security of precious items

What We’re Looking For:

An eye for detail and an appreciation for jewellery and small collectables

Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet, with a commitment to security

Good computer skills with fast, accurate data entry

Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently

Previous experience in jewellery, retail, pawnbroking, or auctions

Formal certification as a Jeweller or Gemmologist is preferred

Flexible availability and willingness to learn new skills
