Are you practical, energetic, and ready to jump into the dynamic world of auctions? Abbeys Auctions, the leading Melbourne auction house renowned for our professionalism, respect, and values-driven service, is seeking a casual All-Rounder to support both our Auction Production and Transport teams.

About The Role:

As a Casual Team Member, you’ll enjoy varied and active workdays supporting our busy auction operations and assisting with the pick-up and delivery of goods.
You’ll work alongside a friendly, respectful team striving to create smooth and successful auction experiences for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Assist with unpacking and sorting auction items

Prepare, catalogue, and display items for auction day

Help with photographing and listing goods for online and in-house auctions

Support the safe handling, packing, and moving of diverse items

Participate in client pick-ups and deliveries

Maintain auction spaces and ensure a clean, organised workspace

Contribute to teamwork and uphold Abbeys’ values of Respect, One Team, Curiosity & Step Lightly.

What We’re Looking For:

A practical, reliable, hands-on person with a positive attitude

Comfortable lifting and moving a variety of objects – from furniture to collectibles

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

Flexibility to work across different tasks and environments as needed

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment

Valid driver’s license (MR or HR truck licence is a plus, but not essential)
