At Solinnov, we innovate and implement algorithms to make sense of complex signals in FPGA-based embedded real time systems. Our primary areas of development are wireless communications, electronic warfare, and radar.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate person to augment our current IT support team. The role has two aspects, one being to provide technical support for Microsoft users, and the other being to help develop, implement, and maintain our cybersecurity posture in accordance with Australian government standards.

The right candidate needs to be creative, self driven, well organised, and willing to learn. The right candidate also needs to have excellent attention to detail, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

Duties include the following:

Microsoft 365 administration

Provide helpdesk support across multiple sites primarily for Microsoft users and occasionally for Linux users

Develop, document, implement, and test IT cybersecurity policy, including:

Australian government cybersecurity requirements

Business continuity and disaster recovery

Software supply chain verification

Endpoint detection and response

Risk management

Manage self-hosted and cloud-hosted services

Network configuration and hardware management

Computer hardware support, including user machines, shared machines, and servers

Liaise with vendors

This role involves occasional interstate travel for short periods. Candidates must be prepared to spend some time at our Adelaide office periodically.

Mandatory Requirements

Australian citizen and eligible for Australian security clearance (NV1)

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, and at least 5 years of post-study experience as a Level 3 IT Technician or similar.
