To sustain our business growth, we are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team through BYT Recruitment.

The Role

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the planning, maintenance, and security of our IT systems. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring reliability of servers, networks, and databases, while safeguarding the business against system risks and downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and networks.

Monitor and optimise system performance, ensuring stability and reliability across multiple business applications.

Manage system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and implement IT security controls.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and server-related issues in a timely manner.

Liaise with external IT service providers, vendors, and contractors to support system upgrades and compliance.

Maintain system documentation, policies, logs, and provide regular reports to management.

Assist in planning and scaling IT infrastructure to support future business growth.

Provide technical support and training to staff on ICT policies, applications, and system usage.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum one year's relevant work experience as a Systems Administrator or similar ICT role.

Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, networks, and security protocols.

Practical experience with system backups, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery planning.

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a regional environment.
