Welder – $50/hr + Overtime + Weekend Rates + Bonus Incentives – Ongoing Role

About the Role:
Adecco is hiring on behalf of a leading material handling and manufacturing business for skilled Welders . In this role, you’ll use your trade skills to weld fabricated assemblies from metal according to drawings and approved weld procedures. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to innovative solutions, work across projects, and collaborate with teams across the business.

Pay & Benefits:

• $50 per hour base
• Overtime pay for weekdays
• Weekend OT rates

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld metal assemblies to AS 1554 standard, ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Interpret engineering drawings and follow project specifications
• Maintain a safe and organised workspace at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and product development
• Complete required quality, safety, and project documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar welding role
• Ability to weld to AS 1554 standards
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• High-risk licences (forklift LF, Dogman DG) highly regarded
• Experience with fabrication of conveyors, chute work, or structural steelwork is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision
