Boothy’s Medical Practice is family run and is a rapidly expanding innovative healthcare provider working collaboratively with quality aged care facilities to provide a higher quality new type of medical service to their residents. We do this by building medical clinics/treatment rooms inside aged care facilities and by using proprietary systems to provide real time access to patient data collected by nursing home staff, enhancing care and streamlining workflow efficiency for our health professionals and staff.

This has created a new type of role in nursing where you’ll be a practice nurse working closely with doctors inside our clinics within the nursing home. Your role will include:

Preparing doctors rounds

Preparing for and assisting with doctor procedures e.g. skin biopsies and excisions, cryotherapy

Performing procedures e.g. iron infusion, ear syringing, vaccinations

Patient reviews e.g. health assessments

Patient education, communicating with family and nursing home staff

Administrative duties

This role will be suitable for registered nurses from a wide variety of backgrounds (e.g. aged care, general practice).

Generous pay on offer that is negotiable based off your experience and performance.

The position will require coverage of all our current sites: Lisarow, Kanwal, Warners Bay and Wyee. You will work Monday and Friday flexible day shift hours to start off with, with the option to work Saturday.
