This is the perfect role for a skilled Prep Chef who loves the craft but also values quality of life and predictable, balanced hours.
Position Summary
The Prep Chef is a key part of our kitchen brigade, ensuring all mise en place, sauce production, and ingredient preparation meet the highest standards.
You’ll support the senior team by maintaining precision, consistency, and readiness — setting the foundation for seamless, high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily prep tasks as directed by the Head and Executive Sous Chefs.
Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, preparation, and hygiene.
Follow all recipes, systems, and prep sheets with precision.
Support kitchen service during peak periods when required.
Label, date, and store all produce following venue procedures.
Maintain prep efficiency to support cost control and minimal waste.
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively within the team.
Skills & Experience
2 years’ experience in a quality restaurant or hotel kitchen.
Strong knife skills and technical foundation.
A calm, efficient, and professional approach to prep work.
Understanding of food safety and HACCP.
Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
