We are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NDIS Rostering and Administration Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values strong communication and teamwork.
About the Role
The NDIS Rostering and Administration Officer is responsible for coordinating staff rosters, managing shift coverage, and supporting the smooth delivery of NDIS services. You’ll work closely with participants, support workers, and management to ensure all services are scheduled effectively, compliant with NDIS requirements, and responsive to participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain accurate staff rosters for support services.
Coordinate shift coverage and manage last-minute changes in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff to confirm shifts and resolve scheduling issues.
Maintain up-to-date participant and staff information in relevant systems (e.g., ShiftCare).
Support general administrative tasks including documentation, compliance records, and data entry.
Assist with onboarding new staff by ensuring compliance documents and system profiles are completed.
Collaborate with team leaders to ensure staff availability, qualifications, and participant preferences are reflected in rosters.
Escalate staffing gaps or participant risks to management as required.
About You
You are an organised, calm, and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working with people and managing competing priorities. You bring a friendly and professional approach to communication and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination (NDIS or healthcare sector preferred).
Strong administrative and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Sound computer literacy and experience using rostering or CRM software.
Understanding of NDIS service delivery principles and compliance requirements (or willingness to learn).
Desirable:
Experience in the disability or community services sector.
Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and worker screening requirements.
Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, Community Services, or related field.
