About the role

We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team at Orchy & Co Pty Ltd in our Thornlands, Queensland facility. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent output

Perform quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards

Assist in the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of production machinery

Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the production process

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar manufacturing role

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production equipment

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Effective communication and teamwork skills

A reliable and proactive work ethic

Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing or a related field would be an advantage
