The Role

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Casual / Contractor (up to 10 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Availability: Must be available virtually for multidisciplinary team (MDT) sessions on Tuesday early morning, Wednesday, and in future, Thursday mornings

We are currently seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with experience in both general musculoskeletal care and pelvic floor rehabilitation to join our collaborative and supportive healthcare team. This dual-focus position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through both in-person and telehealth appointments.

This is a flexible, casual role ideal for someone looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance while working alongside a team of experienced Allied Health professionals and accomplished Specialist Physicians.

Key Responsibilities

General Physiotherapy

Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments

Develop and deliver personalised rehabilitation and treatment plans

Manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions

Educate clients on movement strategies, self-management, and injury prevention

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Assess and treat pelvic floor dysfunction, including:

Incontinence

Pelvic pain

Pelvic organ prolapse

Pre- and post-natal conditions

Educate patients on pelvic health, bladder/bowel function, and sexual health

Create tailored pelvic floor muscle training and recovery plans

Support patients post-pelvic surgery or childbirth

Use biofeedback or real-time ultrasound as needed

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Full AHPRA registration

Must have Postgraduate training in pelvic health

Minimum 2–3 years’ clinical experience (ideally in private practice or workplace rehab)

Must have Pelvic floor experience

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team

A proactive, flexible, and patient-centred approach
