Are you an experienced Draftsperson looking to join a fast growing business within the HVAC industry

Due to ongoing expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Project Draftsperson to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

You’ll be responsible for managing drafting deliverables across multiple commercial projects, overseeing internal and external drafting resources, and ensuring all mechanical documentation meets quality and project standards.

This company are a leading Victorian company specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of large-scale commercial HVAC and mechanical systems, delivering end-to-end solutions for complex building projects.

The Role:

• Prepare, coordinate, and manage shop drawings and as-built documentation for HVAC and mechanical services.
• Work across a variety of commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors to resolve design and coordination issues.
• Utilise VME and other relevant software to produce accurate and efficient documentation.

The Person:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson within the commercial HVAC or building services sector.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed mechanical drawings.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork layouts, and multi-service coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support other drafters.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or VME (VME experience highly regarded).
• Knowledge of AMCA standards or completion of the AMCA Drafting Course (preferred).
