As a broker support manager, you will be required to draw on your credit and broader lending knowledge to help create a better life for people, making their finance journey simple and special.
Each client of Black & White Finance has 2 main points of contact – a mortgage broker, and a broker support manager. The broker support manager is primarily responsible for assisting the mortgage broker with the end to end experience.
With the assistance of market-leading technology and a well-established automated process, the broker support manager is empowered to assess income, assets, and ongoing commitments, all of which ultimately lead to the preparation of client applications, which are referred to as proposals. Residential and commercial lending experience is vital.
Once client proposals are signed and returned, the broker support manager is then responsible for lodging this application. The broker support manager will then ensure we stay well on top of each application, from start to finish, and beyond, to ensure that each product is in each client’s best interests for as long as they have that loan.

Key responsibilities:
Client Impact & Ownership
Support brokers across the full lending cycle from proposal preparation to application submission
Own client communication and proactively manage updates, valuations, and pricing enquiries.
Manage post-settlement care and retention, ensuring clients remain in the best product for their needs.
Compliance & Financial Accuracy
Maintain complete and accurate client documentation.
Assess serviceability using financial statements, P&L, and balance sheets.
Prepare compliant loan submissions with high attention to detail and data integrity.
Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and partners to keep deals moving.
Follow CRM workflows to meet key timeframes and deliver a standout client experience.
Ensure clear, proactive communication so clients always feel informed and supported.
Growth & Continuous Improvement
Take ownership of task completion and build product and policy knowledge.
Contribute to improving processes and client experience as the business grows.
Operate with initiative — this role is more than processing.
Desired attributes, experience, and qualifications:
Honest, reliable, transparent, and caring
Process driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer literacy skills, (Microsoft office preferred)
2+ years of experience either as a credit manager, loan processor, broker support manager, or writer
Commercial lending experience, as well as residential lending experience preferred. Please make this clear in your application as to what type of residential and commercial lending experience you've had.
Experience preparing and lodging end-to-end loan applications using ApplyOnline
Cert IV in Financial Services, Mortgage Broking (Preferred but not essential)
Clear Police & Credit Report (Mandatory)
Full working rights in Australia. Willingness to work weekends if required.
Driver's licence (Mandatory)
