Your Role Will Include:

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

Support daily billing, Medicare/DVA/EFTPOS processing, and end-of-day reconciliation

Maintain and update patient records using Best Practice software

Assist with recalls, reminders, and pathology results management

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure smooth daily operations

Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment requests efficiently

Train or supervise junior reception staff (as required)

Ensure compliance with privacy, infection control, and workplace safety standards

Ensuring the reception area remains clean, welcoming and organized.

What We’re Looking For:

3-4 days per week (preferred days are negotiable) from 8am up to 4pm

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (minimum 3 years) – GP clinic preferred

Proficiency with Best Practice, HotDoc, and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and time management

Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Ability to handle busy environments with professionalism
