The Opportunity

Due to growth, our client is looking for a talented corporate/commercial lawyer with at least 4 years post admission experience.

This team advises on the full spectrum of corporate law issues. A flavour of the work will include:

• private and public M&A transactions
• complex joint ventures
• drafting share-holder agreements
• corporate structuring, capital reductions
• advising on director's duties and compliance with the Corporations Act
• due diligences
• general corporate advisory

Our client is a multi-award winning major corporate law firm with an outstanding reputation in the market. The firm has an enviable client base and their corporate team is winning new work and has a strong pipeline of work.

The partners at this firm are well known for investing in their lawyers and love nothing more than watching them grow.

About You

To be successful in this position, you need:

• At least 4 years plus experience in the area of corporate/commercial law
• Enjoys working on complex matters
• To have a client service mentality and a desire to get to know the client's business
• To be confident, capable and have excellent interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
• To enjoy collaborating and working in a team environment
• A commercial pragmatic approach as well as strong technical skills
