Heavy Diesel Fitter | FIFO 2:2 | $85 per hour | Woodie Woodie Mine

🛠️ Opportunity

Join a world leader in manganese mining at ConsMin’s flagship, Woodie Woodie operation - Use your experience to deliver excellent maintenance and technical support across a fleet of CAT and Komatsu equipment in a well equipped high performing mining operation.

đź“‹ Duties:

  • Bring your experience and knwoledge to optimise and repair CAT MEM (6020B, D10T, 16M, 777G) and Komatsu Diggers (PC1250, PC2000) to keep operations moving
  • Diagnose & fault-find hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical & electrical systems to minimise downtime
  • Conduct workshop & field maintenance to OEM standards
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety & reporting requirements.

🎓 Experience Required:

  • Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • Strong diagnostic & fault-finding ability (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
  • Product knowledge of CAT & Komatsu diggers advantageous
  • Aircon ticket highly regarded

  • 2:2 FIFO roster (Fly directly on to site - Camp 5 mins from airstrip - Fly in/out days just got easier)
  • $85 per hour casual with an opportunity to join the owner/operator full-time
