💲 Rate: Up to $85/hr | Casual
✈️ Roster: FIFO 8:6/ 7:7

🛠️ Opportunity:

Join a leading mining maintenance team working across Rio Tinto’s Gudai-Darri Mine Site, one of WA’s newest and most advanced iron ore operations. This is a premium FIFO role offering even time rosters, competitive rates, a site service Landcrusier all designed to help you provide excellent customer service.
As an HD Fitter, you’ll perform advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and preventative maintenance across some of the largest earthmoving machinery in the industry — ideal for tradespeople seeking top-tier rates, high-quality equipment, and a supportive, professional environment.

📋 Duties:

• Tackle maintenance and optimsiation of our fleet of 200t–600t diggers (PC4000, Liebherr 9600), CAT 789 & 793F dump trucks, D10T dozers, and 992K loaders
• Use your experience to diagnose and troubleshoot our fleet to reduce downtime and keep operations moving
• Share your knowledge and input with site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎓 Experience Required:

• Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent)
• Proven experience on large mining fleets (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr)
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting & preventative maintenance skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A screening

📅 Roster & Pay:

• FIFO from Perth (or major hubs) – Gudai-Darri Mine Site, WA
• 8/6 Day Shift | 7/7 Night Shift roster
• 12-hour days | 5:30am – 5:30pm | Fly in/out on Tuesdays
• Up to $85 per hour | Approx. $7,820 per swing before tax
• Weekly pay | Start casual with option to transition to Full-Time
• Work Ute provided | GXL Land Cruiser
