RM Air Services is seeking an experienced Airconditioning Refrigeration Technician to join our Melbourne team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a skilled tradesperson with experience in commercial environments and a strong sense of pride in their work.

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with management to deliver and lead the service division of the for a variety of sites across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs — including commercial sites with air-conditioning and essential services to Department of Housing multiple sites. We are looking for leaders who can help expand the division, communicate with clients and work efficiently on their own.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose, repair and service a wide range of air conditioning and mechanical services systems.

Complete scheduled maintenance and performance checks on equipment.

Occasionally assist with new air conditioning installations when required.

Ensure all works are completed safely and to RM Air’s quality standards.

Keep accurate job notes, service reports and documentation.

Deliver professional customer service and clear communication with clients.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience.

Strong understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across various makes and models.

Confident in fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing issues efficiently.

Able to work alongside and help guide apprentices when required.

Great communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Practical thinker who can problem-solve and adapt on the job.

Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when needed.
