About the role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Education Program Manager to join our organisation and play a key role in leading the delivery and supporting initiatives that build educator and youth capacity in reconciliation and anti-racism. The role includes workshop facilitation, content development, event planning and delivery, and direct engagement with young people.
What you'll be doing
Program Leadership: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Reconciliation SA’s education programs, ensuring alignment with organisational strategic goals and state and national education priorities.
Program Growth & Delivery: Oversee the development and delivery of educational workshops, maintaining strong relationships with schools, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
Team Management: Provide leadership and support for the education team, focusing on performance, professional development, and team cohesion to ensure successful program delivery and strategic outcomes.
What we're looking for
Experience or qualifications in education, early childhood, or a related field.
At least 3 years’ experience in education or a related field
Understanding of the South Australian education system
Strong communication and organisational skills
Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and contemporary issues
Commitment to the principles of Reconciliation, cultural safety, and respectful community engagement and their application to education settings
Demonstrated project management capabilities, including budget oversight and resource allocation

Flexible working options
Competitive pro rata salary of $83,161 – $103,449 + 12% Super (aligned to Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 5).
