The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Metal Worker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry experts and develop hands-on skills in stainless steel fabrication, welding, and finishing. Over the course of your apprenticeship, you’ll work towards a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, gaining experience in both workshop and onsite environments.

What You’ll Do:

Undertake structured training in metal fabrication, welding, and finishing

Assist tradespeople with fabrication tasks and onsite installations

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Progressively develop skills in reading technical drawings, operating machinery, and advanced fabrication

Participate in planning, workflow, and site installations as your skills grow

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine interest in metalwork and manufacturing

Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic

Good communication and teamwork skills

Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude

Commitment to safety and quality

Essential Requirements:

Class C driver’s licence

General Induction Card (White Card)

Ability to travel to various sites (work vehicle provided for work-related travel)

Desirable:

Previous experience in a similar role or with factory equipment
