About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, has great people skills, and ideally some experience in agriculture, horses, or retail.

Initial hours are 1–2 days per week, with some weekend work and the potential for additional days depending on availability and business needs.

Key Duties

Serving customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service

Handling sales transactions using a computer-based POS system

Loading customer vehicles with feed and supplies (up to 25kg bags)

Restocking shelves, facing up stock, and keeping the store clean and tidy

Assisting with general yard and store duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with people and animals

Demonstrates honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic

Is physically capable of handling bulky or heavy stock

Has experience or interest in agriculture, horses, or retail (desirable but not essential)

Can work independently and as part of a supportive team

Is willing to learn and lend a hand where needed
