Casual Nurse Educator

IQVIA is excited to share the opportunity for a Registered Nurse based in any major city across Australia to join one of our Nurse Programs as a Casual Nurse Educator.

About the Role:

This casual role offers frequent full-day shifts over a 6-month period, making it ideal for nurses in between jobs or seeking short-term, impactful work. The role involves travel to correctional centres across Australia, with nurses required to fly and stay on-site for up to two weeks at a time.

As a Nurse Educator, you will coordinate and deliver this Program using multi-modal resources, support peer education, and assist with research data collection. You’ll work closely with IQVIA and our client to implement and evaluate the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver structured education sessions to target audiences

Facilitate peer education and support program engagement

Collect and document research data

Participate in half-day training prior to commencement

Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure program success

Essential Criteria:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)

Ability to commit to the project schedule and travel requirements

High attention to detail and excellent documentation/reporting skills

Prompt and effective communication skills

IT proficiency for reporting and data entry

Strong facilitation skills, including experience leading workshops

Proven experience in project coordination, with strong organisational, problem-solving, and independent working skills

Self-motivated with the ability to deliver quality, compassionate workforce, patient, and project outcomes

Desirable Criteria:

Holds a relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification and/or substantial experience in infectious diseases

Experience delivering evidence-based education programs using adult learning principles

Certificates & Paperwork Required:

Current CPR certificate

Police Check / Criminal Record Check (issued within the last 3 years)

Current driver’s licence

Proof of identity/working rights (passport or birth certificate)

Hand Hygiene Certificate (NHHI)

Infection Prevention and Control Certificate (NHHI)
