Opportunity:
This 60 staff, Xero accounting firm, are looking for an intermediate accountant or senior accountant to join the team due to continued growth.

Clients range from 10-100 million + and with client groups of 10-20 entities and some groups over 50 entities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and statutory compliance reports including BAS, GST, FBT and tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
• Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients.
• Assist Managers with reviewing files as requested.
• Providing and analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance.
• Participating in and contributing to team meetings.

To be considered:

• You will be an intermediate or senior accountant in Australian business services and public practice.
• CPA/CA qualification or close to completion.
• Experience mentoring junior staff.
• Experience with a team and portfolio of clients.
• Experience with Xero is desirable but not a necessity.
• Very good interpersonal skills.
• A desire for work-life balance.
• Knowledge/exposure with taxation structures including, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions and superannuation.
• Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
