About the role This Senior Business Analyst role sits within People Services, reporting to the BA Manager. You’ll play a key role in bridging business and tech, bringing Payroll domain experience into BA deliverables. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders across HR, payroll, tech, and vendors.

Key Highlights:

• 6 month contract initially - long term program of work
• up to $850 per day
• Sydney location (hybrid)

Duties / Key responsibilities:

• Lead discovery workshops with payroll teams, product owners, and tech stakeholders
• Translate payroll processes into functional and system requirements (ADP experience highly regarded)
• Analyse and map business processes and system interfaces
• Provide support across UAT, testing, and solution design
• Act as the key liaison between payroll operations and delivery teams during transformation

Skills and experience:

• Strong payroll domain experience, ideally having moved into a Business Analyst role
• In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and processes—preferably ADP
• Experience working across complex environments and large-scale system transformations
• Strong stakeholder engagement, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Excellent documentation, analysis and problem-solving skills
