About Us

Australasian Response Group (ARG) provides emergency response and safety personnel, training, vehicles, and equipment to the mining and resources sector across Australasia. With strong growth and new projects underway, we’re seeking a Client Relations & Recruitment Consultant with drive and initiative to join our Perth team. This is a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or permanency based on performance.

The Role

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position combining recruitment delivery and client relations. You’ll engage with clients across the mining and resources sector, build strong relationships, and source the right personnel to meet their emergency services requirements.

You’ll recruit experienced Emergency Services Officers, Paramedics, and Safety Advisors for mine sites across WA, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment process from job brief to placement, including advertising, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and mobilisation

Develop new business through outbound calls, meetings, and relationship-building

Grow and maintain existing client accounts across the mining and resources sector

Source, interview, and assess candidates to ensure strong alignment with role and site requirements

Write and post job advertisements and use sourcing platforms effectively to attract top talent

Build and maintain relationships with site managers, HSE teams, and labour coordinators

Maintain active candidate pipelines across emergency and safety disciplines

Ensure compliance with all pre-employment and site access requirements

Manage candidate and client data accurately using integrated recruitment and scheduling systems

Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment to achieve shared goals and deliver high service standards

You’ll be measured on your ability to build strong client relationships, achieve consistent monthly placements, and maintain high candidate retention and satisfaction rates. Attractive performance bonus structure: earn up to $15,000 annually for achieving placement and retention targets.

High performers will be considered for early contract extension or permanent opportunities.

Proven recruitment experience (labour hire or temp/contract preferred)

Strong sales or business development background

Understanding of mining/resources or emergency services environments
