Event Set Up Crew Member – Casual | $40 -$50/hr | Up to 25hrs/week

We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Event Set Up Crew Member to join our team!
This is a hands-on role helping bring events to life — from weddings and celebrations to retreats and gatherings — by setting up spaces, moving furniture, and preparing the property for guests.

What you’ll be doing:

Setting up and packing down events according to floorplans (tables, chairs, décor, signage, etc.)

Moving and positioning furniture, lighting, and equipment

General property preparation — tidying, sweeping, and light garden work to ensure the venue looks its best

Assisting with on-the-day logistics and supporting the event team where needed

Following detailed setup plans and working both independently and as part of a team

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in events, hospitality, or similar hands-on roles

Strong attention to detail and a practical, can-do attitude

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully

Available to work weekends (essential) and some weekdays as required

Details:

Casual position – up to 25 hours per week

$40 - $50 per hour depending on day of the week.

Must have own transport and a flexible approach to hours (events vary week to week)
