RSM People are recruiting a Labourer to join our client's Civil Works Branch for an immediate start at the Childers Depot.

THE ROLE:

You'll work on the upkeep and repair of stormwater drainage and damaged footpaths.

Key Duties:

Repair curb and channel, stormwater drains, catch pits, wing walls, and culverts

Paving, stabilising footpaths, grinding trip hazards

Operating tools and machinery such as excavators, demo saws, jack hammers, compactors, and more

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must:

Have a strong work ethic and ability to perform heavy manual labour

Have a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 30kg

Be comfortable with frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and handling tools

Have experience working in construction, roads, and drainage highly regarded

Have a valid unrestricted Driver’s Licence (HR/MR preferred)

Hold a Construction White Card

Have Working in Proximity of Traffic course or willing and able to complete

Have availability to work outside of normal hours

Have a right to work in Australia (Australian Birth Certificate/Passport/Citizenship or Working Visa without restrictions)

Be able to provide a clear Police Check

Be able to pass a pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
