Diploma, Certificate 3 and Trainees in Children’s Services

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic educators to join us at one of our beautiful services located in Sylvania on a full time or part time basis. We welcome full and part time applicants.

Honeybears currently operates three services in Sylvania.

Honeybears Junior is a 30 place 'Exceeding' service that was purpose-built for children aged 0-3 years.

Honeybears Early Learning Centre is a 39 place, ‘Exceeding’, award-winning long day care centre, for children 2-5 years. Honeybears is a well-regarded established centre, serving the community for over 15 years.

Honeybears Kankinya, is a 38 place, 'Exceeding', centre for children aged 0-5years, in the beautiful suburb of Sylvania Waters.

Our team of educators are highly qualified and experienced in Early Childhood Education, which is an exemplary working environment for the successful applicants.

All Honeybears services are beautiful, Reggio inspired, natural environments that are well maintained and resourced. Our staff:child ratios are very high allowing for high-quality interactions with children. This, combined with daily contracted cleaners, ensures that our educators are spending more quality time with the children and developing the program.

Educator Requirements:

The children at Honeybears have asked us to find someone:

“Who helps us pack away”

“Who can choose fun toys to play with”

“That can read us books”

“Who smiles" :)

“Who will listen to our stories”

“Who will help with reading and writing”

The management team at Honeybears have asked to find someone who has:

Completed a Diploma or Certificate 3 in Children's Services or willing to obtain these qualifications as a trainee.

Current Working with Children's Check.

ACECQA approved First Aid Qualifications

Working knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and WH&S practices

Neat and professional presentation

Friendly and caring personality

Willingness to learn

Good organisational skills

Honest and reliable
