Based in Fortitude Valley you will support the delivery and implementation of payroll as a service with Aurion – People and Payroll Solutions.

Working in the Human Resource (HR) team, it will be your role to represent the team in project meetings, as well as coordinate and undertake activities with HRIS (Aurion) project team and the internal project team. This includes but not limited to system and workflow configuration, business process mapping, data auditing and migration, and user acceptance testing.

Key Experience Required for this role:

• This role will be technical and operational – you will need to know how Aurion works and is configured from an administration point of view as well as know what the changes and impacts will have on procedure and policy.
• You will need to be able to identify risks and benefits as part of implementation but also make the transactional changes necessary for the implementation to be successful. This might include rewriting internal procedures, adapting templates/forms, creating communication for staff as part of their engagement and awareness.
• You will need to be an SME in all thing’s payroll – preferrable in a government agency or statutory authority. You will need to know about the application of State-Wage case, Enterprise Bargaining increases etc so that you can support the HRIS processes.

Your role will report to the Director, People and Culture and you will be part of the HR team, who are delivering recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, health safety and wellbeing and advice services to approximately 360 staff.

In this role you will need excellent communication and problem solving skills; high attention to detail and numeracy; knowledge of software and payroll regulations; organising skills both of self and others.
