Magotteaux Australia is seeking an experienced Metallurgical Sales Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane, QLD. As a Metallurgical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business by building strong relationships with clients and delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique needs. What you'll be doing

Actively engage with customers to understand their pain points and requirements

Provide expert technical advice and develop customised metallurgical solutions

Prepare and present proposals and bids to secure new business

Manage existing customer accounts and maintain strong relationships

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities

Contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy of the business

What we're looking for

Degree qualified in Metallurgical or Mining Engineering

Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical sales or account management role within the mining, minerals processing or related industries

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
