Protech is seeking a Senior OP Mine Geologist for our client who is a growing gold producer listed on the ASX. Our client operates both established and emerging assets at their Gold Project down south in WA, which features a newly completed processing plant. This role will be on a FIFO basis - 8:6 roster.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Start Date (TBD)
• Full-Time / Permanent position
• 12-hour days / FIFO 8:6 from Perth
• Site and Travel Allowance
• Bonus scheme

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical leadership and oversight of open pit geological activities
• Manage drill rig programs and supervise drilling activities
• Conduct detailed geological mapping, sampling, and data interpretation
• Support mine planning and ore control through accurate geological analysis
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards
• Mentor and support the development of junior geologists
• Potentially lead and coordinate a team of mine geologists to achieve performance goals

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor of Science (Geology)
• Experience with mining and geology software packages such as DATAMINE (REQUIRED)
• Prior experience in an open-pit environment
• Proven expertise in mine geology within gold operations
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience
• Preferably at least 2-3 years of experience within a Senior OP Mine Geologist position
