​APG Workforce are seeking three skilled Electrical Maintenance Fitters to install, maintain, and repair equipment at our clients Wingfield site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment. ​
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, including ISO Quality System, HACCP, GMP, WHS, and Environmental Management Systems. ​
• Conduct in-process checks, take corrective actions, and document maintenance activities. ​
• Promote continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe, and operational workshop. ​
• Adhere to WHS policies, report hazards/incidents, and actively participate in safety programs. ​
• Minimise environmental impact by reducing water and energy use and managing waste responsibly. ​

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Electrical trade qualification. ​
• Instrumentation knowledge. ​
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing. ​
• Australian citizen, permanent resident, or legally entitled to work in Australia. ​
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic communication skills.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions and meet production targets. ​

Preferred Skills:

• PLC knowledge. ​
• HACCP and food handling training. ​
• Background in poultry processing. ​
• Certificates I-III in Poultry Processing. ​
• Understanding of SQF Quality, HACCP, WHS, and Environmental systems. ​
