The Role
As the APS6 Case Manager, you will play a key role in guiding managers and employees through sensitive and complex workplace matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing injury cases, including early intervention and return-to-work programs, and overseeing performance and behaviour case management
- Providing expert advice on sensitive workplace issues, including conflict resolution, underperformance, and complaints
- Supporting managers in navigating challenging workplace dynamics and advocating for early resolution of cases
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Commonwealth legislation and internal policies
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive an integrated approach to case management
- Contributing to the development and refinement of guidelines, policies, and processes within the team
The Ideal Person
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in case management, particularly in managing rehabilitation or performance and behaviour matters.
Your ability to navigate sensitive workplace issues with discretion and empathy will be key, as will your in-depth knowledge of relevant policies, practices, and legislation.
You will be a confident communicator, able to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and a flexible approach will enable you to handle challenges and uncertainties with ease.
Your interpersonal skills will allow you to build trust and rapport quickly, making you a reliable support for both managers and employees.

Salary / Rate
- $85k - $105k + Super
- 6 months non-ongoing contract with potential to turn permanent
- s26 Transfer will be considered
