The Role:
Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is offering a unique opportunity to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team as the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Reporting to the Director if Medical Services - Women's and Children's Services, the Clinical Director Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) is a role with leadership and governance responsibilities, aligning safe and high-quality clinical service delivery with MBPH strategic direction and values. The Clinical Director (O&G) is a 0.2 FTE administrative role worked alongside the clinicians concurrent clinical and non-clinical activities.
Remuneration is at HM38-HM41 as per the Medical Specialists (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia, or ability to gain registration, as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), or ability to gain Fellowship
Evidence of professional development and participation in quality assurance activities.
Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a Senior Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in a Victorian public hospital.
