Morning & Afternoon shift - Machine Operator – SWI & Variobend - Folder/ Slitter - Multiple positions available

We currently have an opening to join our afternoon shift team in Melton, Pakenham & Sunbury (1:00 pm-9:30 pm). Prior experience will be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.

About us:

Metfold Sheetmetal is a rapidly growing sheet metal roofing supplier. We specialized in Colobond® Roofing products and rainwater goods. For all your long-length custom Colorbond roof flashings, Rainheads, and Sumps. We offer custom and heavy-gauge fabrication of sheet metal, including galvanized and aluminum, making us a one-stop shop.

What a day in this role might look like:

Operate Sheet metal Fabrication machinery

Operate SWI & Variobend Folding/Slitting machine (Any experience shortlists the candidates).

Able to use Power tools

Operate the Break press and the Guillotine

Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication

Housekeeping around your machinery

A successful candidate will have these qualities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

A team player

Reliable, hardworking, and punctual

ability to lift weights up to 20kg.

Good computer skills and Basic Math skills.
