The Role

As a Senior Access Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Building Act, Building Code of Australia, and Disability Discrimination Act, while leading project delivery and mentoring a talented team. You’ll liaise with clients, councils, and authorities, providing technical advice, project management, and strategic input to achieve best-practice accessibility outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess project documentation and provide expert compliance advice.
• Manage access consulting projects from design to delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations on accessibility compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to a positive culture.
• Support business development and identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain quality, safety, and WHS standards across all projects.

About You

• Degree in Building Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in access consulting or building compliance.
• Strong understanding of BCA, Access Standards, and DDA compliance.
• Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships.
• Skilled in mentoring, leadership, and technical problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
