Opportunity for an experienced Junior / Intermediate Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this large boutique CA firm in Sydney CBD. You will be a part of an organisation that provides strong training and development to fast track your knowledge and career. This practice works with a variety of clients including SMEs, family groups, investments, NFPs and large private businesses.

Working with a supportive Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SMEs, high net-worth individuals, partnerships, trusts and SMSF

Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST reconciliations

Preparation of FBT returns

Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a

Assist in tax planning

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies in relation to clients' tax issues

Ideal Requirements:

At least 1.5 to 3+ years' local experience in a CA firm

Experienced undergrads will also be considered

CA/CPA studying or upon commencement

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to the potential client facing nature of role

A self-starter with drive and attention to detail

Exposure to external audit a bonus but not essential
