An exciting opportunity exists for an Senior or Intermediate Accountant to join a reputable Chartered Accounting firm in North Sydney. This role offers excellent training and mentorship from experienced professionals, and a vibrant, supportive environment for professional development.

You’ll work closely with a dynamic team, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and large private companies. Main Duties:

Prepare financials and tax returns for a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, family groups, and private companies.

Handle complex tax matters, including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A, small business concessions, and trust distributions

Assist with tax planning and business advice for clients

Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication

Contribute to a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior staff where appropriate and sharing technical insights

About you:

Minimum of 2-4+ years' accounting experience in public practice in Australia.

Experience with Xero, MYOB & other accounting software.

Completed/pursuing CA/CPA

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor degree in accounting or relevant field
