About the role:

Kanda is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers to assist our aged care clients across the Southern Fleurieu Region, including Normanville, Second Valley, Victor Harbor, Goolwa, and Mt Compass.
(Please note: there is no requirement to travel to Kangaroo Island for this position.)

In this community-based role, you will support clients within their own homes by providing personal care assistance such as grooming, showering, and general hygiene support. The role may also include some light domestic duties to help clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Role details:

• Day shifts available between 8:00am and approximately 4:00pm
  
• Paid for your entire shift, including a $0.99 per km travel allowance between client visits
  
• Meaningful work supporting older Australians to live safely and independently at home
  

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification
  
• Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle (required for community travel)
  
• National Police Check (current or willing to obtain)
  
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
  
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
