The Opportunity
The Administration Officer plays a crucial supporting role within the Bagala Aboriginal Corporation team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office and supporting the delivery of all operational activities and for embedding procedures to a high professional standard.
Based in Barunga and reporting to the Men’s Health Coordinator, General Manager and CEO, this role includes regular travel to Beswick (twenty minutes away), working closely with the Team supporting the various activities of Bagala.
About You
You are a proficient user of MS Office
You’ll bring a hospitable customer service attitude, to support Bagala’s various programs with administrative functions
You enjoy continuous improvement, to implement a new filing system using Microsoft SharePoint
You have attention to detail to perform data entry for accounts payable, receivable and payroll functions
You are a clear communicator able to engage with stakeholders and contractors to support operations
You are a stickler for compliance, to ensure this is being met across the organisation
You like to be organised, to maintain stock supplies
You have strong work ethics with a high degree of confidentiality
You are flexible and enjoy variety, to support the smooth running of the Motel and maintain high presentability
You are comfortable to support the Men’s Wellness Program
You have a full drivers license, (preferably with 4WD experience or certification) to drive the 12-seater bus to collect and deliver program participants
You have a deep respect for Aboriginal culture and cross-cultural engagement to support the Barunga Festival event (June annually)

Full time, ongoing role
5 weeks annual leave
Paid Christmas closure
$70,000 to $80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
