We’re looking for someone ready to lead our finance engine with both precision and strategic insight.

The Role

We need a full-time Finance Manager who can go end-to-end from payroll and compliance to budgeting, variance analysis and financial decision support.

You’ll have full ownership of our finance systems, controls and reporting and be a key thought partner to the fractional CFO & CEO. You’ll also play a critical role in modernising our financial systems (Odoo ERP), increasing accuracy, clarity and forecasting power as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed, accurate budgets, forecasts and cashflow models

Own and maintain Odoo (ERP) — ensure data integrity and system accuracy

Lead variance analysis with insight — not just reporting, but action

Manage payroll, super, BAS, IAS, EOFY compliance (Employment Hero exp ideal)

Oversee reconciliations, AP/AR, and supplier/customer credit controls

Be the finance voice at the leadership table — advising on margin, pricing, and profitability

Collaborate with external partners (CFO, accountants) or lead transition to internal

Drive process improvement, controls, and risk mitigation Help us build a lean, scalable, insight-led finance function

What We’re Looking For

CPA qualified (essential)

5+ years experience as a Finance Controller/Manager or similar

Strong ERP experience (Odoo ideal) and high systems confidence

Experience with payroll tax, financial compliance, and reporting

Ability to work independently, make decisions, and communicate clearly

Experience in project-based, service or tech businesses preferred
