We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Claims Manager to lead the claims function, handling claims end-to-end across multiple classes, with a strong focus on Workers Compensation. As the sole claims professional at this stage, this role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, communicates effectively, and takes initiative.

Duties include:

• Manage complex claims from lodgement to resolution
• Negotiate with insurers, legal counsel, and third parties
• Act as a trusted advisor for brokers and clients
• Drive process improvement initiatives

About you:

• A down-to-earth, genuine person who values strong relationships and teamwork
• Around 7-10+ years’ experience in insurance claims (or close to it)
• Solid Workers Comp experience is required and exposure to other insurance classes
• Autonomous and proactive, but also values being part of a supportive group
• Well-organised, with the ability to handle a diverse and busy portfolio
