About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Cloud Administrator to support a major government digital transformation initiative.

This role is pivotal in maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant Azure environments across critical public sector systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure for government workloads

- Ensure compliance with Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight controls

- Implement and monitor cloud security policies, access controls, and threat protection

- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to ensure seamless integration and operational continuity

- Maintain detailed documentation and support audit readiness

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years in Microsoft cloud administration, with proven Azure expertise

- Proficiency in Azure AD, Virtual Networks, Storage, Security Center, and Defender

- Experience with PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Policy

- Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305) preferred
