Commercial Asset Finance

$95K + Super + up to 10% yearly bonus

Join our client, an Asset Finance specialist on their journey to success! They are on the lookout for a committed individual to be part of their collections team. This role promises growth opportunities within the commercial portfolio.

This newly created role will see you be responsible for the implementation of the company's strategy for resolving overdue and written-off accounts in arrears. Your focus will be to resolve and recover late-stage collections accounts. Determining the right course of action for further recovery, default, litigation or proceed to debt/asset sale/end of life cycle.

Key Requirements:

Responsible for collections on contract accounts/portfolio post write off.

Manage inbound, outbound calls, emails, SMS and letters regarding payment issues from written-off accounts.

Identify reasons for customer arrears and negotiate resolutions including payment arrangements or hardship

Identify accounts that are in financial difficulty or indicating cash flow issues, address these in accordance with regulatory obligations

Action defaults on non-paying customers with the relevant Credit Bureau

Weekly portfolio management reporting

Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with senior management, sales teams, vendors, brokers and customers

Access and review information relevant to recovery cases.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory legislation.

YOU:

Strong Loss Recovery or Back-end collections experience - consumer, commercial and/or mercantile

Extensive Commercial Asset Finance industry knowledge

High integrity and strong judgement ensuring the client's customer's privacy is always protected

Superior problem-solving, dispute-resolution and negotiation skills

A team player with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment meeting customer needs

Professional customer service experience with both internal and external clients

A forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes continuous process improvement solutions for both internal and external stakeholders

Understanding of relevant regulatory legislation and compliance requirements
