Skills & Experience Required:

Systems Engineering Expertise: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience developing N2 charts and system models (SysML or similar).

Control & Automation: Knowledge of control theory, functional safety, safety in design, and security in design.

Embedded Systems & Communication: Familiarity with embedded systems, real-time operating systems, CAN bus, Ethernet, and RF technologies.

Hardware Integration: Experience selecting, procuring, and integrating hardware, sensors, computing devices, routers, and communication protocols into cohesive systems.

Design & Verification: Ability to lead development of interface specifications, design documentation, test plans, and verification campaigns.

Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.

Mentorship & Leadership: Ability to guide and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Industry Knowledge: Mining industry experience highly regarded.

Desirable: RF experience, familiarity with autonomy and energy-related systems, and experience working in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
