Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Consultant or Senior Consultant (someone with 3-6 years quantitative market research experience). Some flexibility around this is possible (i.e. if you’re a Consultant looking to branch up, or an Associate Director, or someone looking for a reduced FTE).
You’ll be responsible for leading and managing market research projects from start to finish. This includes conducting quantitative research, analysing data, generating insights, and presenting findings to clients. You will also be responsible for helping build and maintaining client relationships, alongside engaging with our qualitative partners and panel providers. You’ll also have the chance to help contribute to developing proposals and engaging in business development.
While we’ve been around since 2022, we are still in start-up mode – we build as we go. Some comfort with ambiguity and the rhythms of start-up is needed.
While the role is remote / work-from-home, we are seeking candidates in Melbourne. Travel to clients for meetings and presentations is expected, alongside occasional whiteboard sessions at coworking spaces or cafes. Some interstate travel will take place from time to time.
What we need from you
Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques
Experience in leading and managing market research projects
Expertise in quantitative research methods
Familiarity and comfort in understanding qualitative methods, working with qual partners
Proficiency in data analysis and insight generation
High level of expertise in using Office/365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly proficient with Q Research Software
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Client relationship management experience
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects, all at various stages
Comfort in working directly with end-clients
Experience in the commercial or not-for-profit sectors
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., market research, business, psychology)
