We are looking for a passionate and exciting lead educator to help support and guide the fantastic team in our beautiful toddler room at Majura Park Childcare Centre.

About the role

Successful applicants will:

Provide the best possible care to the infants at our centre,

Develop and implement daily programs,

Work in collaboration with the children's families and your colleagues

Listen to and know young children as individuals, respecting their unique routines, and supporting them with all aspects of their daily care;

Educate growing minds - develop and implement educational activities at a moments notice, or a child's interest 'right now';

Write about children in an interesting way

Let children's families know how awesome their children are, frequently;

Mentor and support educators.

Demonstrate proven room leader experience with early childhood teams.

Help implement our policies and procedures to support the running of the toddler room,

Position Requirements

You must be a positive person with:

a recognised Australian Qualification in Early Childhood Education at the Diploma in Early Education and Care level or above;

excellent English language skills;

Australian citizenship (or Visa eligibility);

a Working With Vulnerable People Check; and

a desire to work and thrive in a close knit team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience of leadership in an early childhood setting.
