Assistant Manager

Tradelink is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Belmont, Western Australia. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in driving the success of our retail outlet and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in leading and directing store operations to meet sales, profitability and customer service targets

Oversee the day-to-day running of the store, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling procedures

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure all customers receive a positive shopping experience

Coach, train and develop a high-performing retail team, fostering a positive and engaging work environment

Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement merchandising and promotional strategies

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of store policies and procedures

Ensure the store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and visual merchandising

What we're looking for

Experience in a Plumbing & Gas fitting

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Proficient in inventory management, budgeting and financial reporting

Highly organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
